| Users review: Before continuing with this review, please note that I have not read the book, but I will in the near future :) Please note that I'm too (straight) man ... not that it matters: what can I say about this movie PWow. From the moment the title sequence is started, I was hooked immediately. Scenes from the film only managed to suck me into this world beautiful Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. Shailene Woodley and the chemistry between Ansel Elsort is incredible and amazing performances. Honestly, this is the best movie I've seen all year, even better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Godzilla a big surprise. I just thought that this would be another teenie love story and boy was I wrong. I love this movie and recommend it to all people of all ages. Im babbling and praised the film now so I might have to get the direction and photography are fantastic Review.The. Not a single shot is was odd or out of place. Each scenes in shape and feel real. Editing is Also big shot after shot game with the faces of the characters and where (the typical things that a good movie editing). Acting is probably one of the best aspects of this film. Seriously makes the two characters feel real and alive, and I sometimes forget this is fiction and not based on a true story. Their performances are so genuine and definitely Oscar-worthy in my opinion. But know this love story that just will not teenie academy recognized at all. Hopefully I'm wrong, but this is the way in which it usually is. This is the first film this year that I gave 10. 10s Dont give easily, but there is nothing seriously wrong with this film. The pace is perfect, the acting is phenomenal, directing, editing and photography is exceptional and overall, this film is one of the best romantic comedies ever touching the ground. I invite everyone to go see this movie no matter what your age and bring a pack of tissues as well. You will need it.10/10 |
