| Users review: Forgetting Sarah Marshall - slacker composer Peter (Jason Segel in Knocked Up) has a nervous breakdown after his girlfriend Sarah (Kristen Bell of Heroes), the stars of the hit TV show, dumps him for the British pop star. Peter goes to Hawaii to try and forget about Sarah, which proves to be a bad choice when he finds out Sara is not only in Hawaii, but they stay in the same hotel. Paul Rudd, Bill Hader, Jonah Hill and Mila Kunis co star.This funny movie! More mature than your average comedy thereof. It survives without exploitation comedicalli highly folded bits of other pop culture, unlike Knocked Up. There is a difference of some funny spoofs of CSI and Ghost Whisperer as two fat rip with murder. Each person is allowed to be funny, and even women, and they are. I enjoyed frequent cut-avais Scrubs style that is often funny. The best one has to be Peter spent Sunday in a pair of sweat pants.This was happy shock first-time director Nicholas STOLLER and first author (with actor Jason Segel main). I hate to compare with other actors, but I kept thinking about when I saw Segel Judge Reinhold. Not that strikes against him.Segel clean face in the comedy genre, and is adept at playing sympathetic Slacker and funny in one person. Kirsten Bell looks better than Heroes, and its a good change of pace to deny Paul Rudd in appearance and character immediately. Bill Hader is funny as always. What it really comes across in this film is that everyone, even Sarah Marshall, it looks like a three-dimensional character. We have been given in comedies when people are bitchy or bad just for the heck left. Pop star Aldous Snow Even deep (Russell Brand), whose opponent Petra is beautiful. There is no enmity between them. Its good to comedy in which we do not demonize anione.Its cute movie, sometimes funny, but the first half is definitely more fun than the second half. You can take it on the DVD + sometime.B |
