Users review: For newcomers to the TV series Veronica Mars - set in the fictional town of Neptune, California - followed Veronica, a high school student who helps fellow classmates to solve the crime. These cases range from minor to major crimes such as rape and murder. On the surface, what looks like another teen drama really clever neo-noir that works on so many levels. Unfortunately, the show was canceled in 2007 after just three seasons comprising 64 episodes have aired, prospective follow-up films are always on the horizon. But after rejection of the study, it was only last year that plans for a movie was made official after Rob Thomas (creator of the show) along with Kristen Bell and the cast of the TV series appealed to fans to help fund this film. And help they did, with the goal of $ 2m dollars beaten in a short time. Donations reached an impressive $ 5m + and movie fans hoping to finally be reality.A years after the Kickstarter campaign movie is released, and the question is, is there any point? The answer to that question is yes! This film is everything a fan could hope for from Veronica Mars; dialogue, interaction between Veronica and Keith, the main mystery and of course the love angle between Veronica and Logan. There is also little in jokes can be found to back fans with references events from the original series. For new audience, however, I kind of had the feeling that the only way to truly enjoy this movie has prior knowledge of past events and characters. Although the main plot is novel, will be the interaction between the character and style of the film becomes a better experience if you've seen the show. But that does not mean you will not like the movie as a stand-alone event, after all the creators have ensured that this film will be available to new audiences who are not familiar with the TV series, and I will be back, interested to know what people who saw the film and not asked the series. At the end of the day, this film opens up more questions than answers, but leaves out a great record, which no doubt will be reprized in the upcoming sequel. Meanwhile, there are novel to look forward, and it has been confirmed by Rob Thomas became canon.Veronica Mars is a film for fans - A long time ago, we used to be friends, and even after 7 years, we still do! |
