Users review: An earlier reviewer from the Japanese cult favorite Battle Royale and decided that was close to junk. I beg to differ - the film must be appreciated and its own history. Battle Royale is a story of violence and depravity ruthless, mindless, meaningless, when the goal was simply to be the last to survive - kill Festival, where innovative methods of killing used to shock and titillate audiences but little to the plot. The Hunger Games, however, about the oppression, detention and Revolution. Game, although important, is still part of a larger story.Compared first movie is definitely darker. Characters are even more dismal than ever, and if you thought there were a few laughs in the first film, there are hardly any in it. Even bright scenes with the applause of the crowd and smiling hosts seem low, gloomy and depressing. Enjoying the witty banter, you could not help but sit .... but still feeling doom and gloom from start to finish the film. It's not so bad, though - should not be more happy movie.Many and stories were cut from the film adaptation understand, but none that was crucial to the plot of the movie. However, many peripheral activities that were absent in the book here, so even if the story is moving fast enough, there is always a feeling that thrillers, there are not enough of fighting and explosions. The movie makes you arent interesting or greater enough.But legally narrative, the film is still work to move from the first film and get ready for the third.
