Users review: Odd Thomas was a solid movie, and it was a really nice watch. I am a very big fan of books Odd Thomas. As with any novel turned into a movie that was much finer details of omissions and some that was never added in. I feel like I did a good job capturing Odds character. I feel the chemistry between Odd and Stormy was a little off. Im not sure if this was due to the casting, acting or direction. Or the fact that a lot about his character was omitted. But looked younger, rather than deep love in your love life. I can not help but wonder if they had given a slightly larger budget and more focus on some of the other characters and their stories, it would be a great movie, instead of just a good one. In the book we have a much more ghostly communication between Odd and interesting and diverse set of ghosts, including Elvis. I like to see more of this in the film, as I feel it really helps the viewer / reader to understand the world of death and how it affects the world of the living and Odd though. One of the most interesting books are your friend strange little cat and Ozzie, Ozzie has 6 fingers on his left hand, writes novels and knows Odds unusual powers, which allow the sheriff. Stormy is clear the one who knows all about Odd. I gave a 7 Odd Thomas 10 - is a good solid movie and a fun watch. Id love to see it done to a T.V. series. I think in this way you can get deep character development and plots that have in the books.
