Users review: Mr. Hemingway was trying to add something new to legacy of the great gangster-comedy Guy Ritchie and Martin McDonagh, but its more of trying, and was failing. Each scene is trying to be more original and exciting than the previous one, but they are rarely funny. Dialogues would be smart and remember, but in reality they are over-the-top curses and insults by the characters. Don Hemingway (played incredibly by Jude Law) is not a hero, but as an anti-hero: he is unfortunate that a guy just get drunk and high for most of the film. They are waiting too long to add some depth to the dramatic His character.It have a couple of funny moments, but the film is very naturally bound to be fun. If you want to see a movie with a similar climate, but done better, I would recommend you to waste.
