Users review: It seems that everyone who hated this film should have a review posted, so I thought Id throw in his two cents to equalize things a bit. First, assuming that every movie made simply uppercut kind of ideology in public chest, then yes, it seems very racist, xenophobic, and the like. However, this movie is based on comic freakin! Spartans were some of the most skilled, nastiest, nationalist fighters there, and certainly had reason to be driven and nationalistic than Persias was an army of people fighting for their country and families. They should be interpreted differently simply to meet current political climate? Are you crazy? Cheesy one liners and is evidence that this film is based on comics. Exaggerated characters is further proof that this movie is based on comic books. This is not a historical film, it is a film that tries to put Rockstar, no holds barred spin on a particular historical event.
