| Users review: You do not know my pain or my emptiness, but now you know what it means to be me. Mitch Brockden (Cooper) is an assistant prosecutor who has everything going for him. Coming home at night he accidentally hits and kills a man. Rather then stay and help him to call the police anonymously and off. When Clinton Davis (Jackson) is charged with a crime, Mitch does everything he can to throw the trial that Davis may be innocent go free, but that's exactly what he wants Davis. He was actually pretty excited about it because the plot idea. It sounded interesting and I expected to be a tense and suspenseful. Although the last 15-20 minutes felt a bit like that, the rest seemed pretty flat and not very stressful at all. Samuel Jackson just had a little, and then played the same, but at least he does not cry out all their lines of this one. Fans Samuel L. Jackson may be a little disappointed, because his screen time, and all others may be a little disappointed, because it is very flat and almost without emotion. All in all, a movie that I was disappointed, but only because I really think that my expectations were a little high. C and I +. |
